Get your Sunday afternoon groove on with Artomatic jazz & brunch

Swing by Artomatic on Sunday, June 10 for light brunch offerings from Bus Boys and Poets and some soul-sustaining jazz. Starting at noon, the café will be serving soy parfait yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, vegan muffins, coffee and orange juice. Swag Funk hits the Heineken Cherry Smash Stage at 1pm, followed by Joe Lerner and Jay Brown at 2:15pm.

Swag Funk has been playing funk grooves at large and small venues in the DC area since 2008. Current personnel includes “Funk Doctor” Scott Eister (Bass), “Funk Master” Mike Sutton (Vocals/Guitar), “Drum Master” Al Warren (Drums), "Funk Professor" Daryl Braxton (Vocals/Keys/Bass), “Funk Ace” Brian A.C. Williams (Guitar) and Niya “Diva” Davis (Vocals).

Joe Lerner and Jay Brown bring their guitar, bass and vocals together on jazz, blues and R&B standards. Both these talented musicians frequently perform in the DC area music scene. Brown has played in such clubs as 219 Restaurant in Alexandria, Columbia Station in Adams Morgan, JV's in Annandale, and Flanagan’s Harp & Fiddle in Bethesda.
