Those who have been to previous Artomatics would be well aware of a Washington, DC area poet known only as Brash who makes an effort to not only visit each art exhibit but also leave a poem at that exhibit as a special gift to that artist. Sometimes Brash might write a poem about the entire exhibit itself. Other times Brash might write a poem about just one work of art in an exhibit. But usually Brash will leave the poem tacked on the wall so visitors can have a chance to read the poem as well.
I took photos of just a few of Brash’s poems, which will remain on display along with the rest of the art until Artomatic closes this weekend.
