All art is a three way triangle between the artist, the art, and the observer. Each effects the others in a continuous cycle. Being involved in that process can be life itself.

A long time ago, on a stage not so far away, a committed group of performers, five men and 3 women decided it was time to come together for a common cause. They wanted to bring comedy to a world that so desperately needed to laugh. Having drank the proverbial improv Kool-Aid, this rag tag bunch of misfits also known in some circles as Young Agnostic Procrastinators have performed improv comedy in front of millions (ok, maybe hundreds) of satisfied fans throughout the Washington D.C. area.

I photograph images projected upon models. I like the unexpected intersections and collisions of shapes, textures, colours, and meanings.
I frequently use this method to address political themes. I have also done a lot of work with paintings, particularly Dali.

Painted Shadows: The Projection Photography and Video Art of JD Yezierski
Running time: 30 minutes of video, 45 minutes for a demonstration of projection photography.
I will be showing some of the short videos I have made from my projection photographs. Images of the Mona Lisa, works by Dali, other artists, as well as photographs, are projected onto the bodies of models, male and female. (note: some nudity is involved). yezjd@yahoo.com
