Single Dads University

April 29, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Being a parent is hard work. Being a single parent can be harder.

Join the Single Dads Foundation (SDF) for an afternoon of informal talks on topics relevant to single dads!

SDF is a Maryland nonprofit that grew out of an exhibit at Artomatic 2009 by Eeshan Melder, who displayed cartoons he drew on his son’s lunch bags after becoming a single Dad.

Join SDF Founder Eeshan Melder and local author Monique Nicole Prentice Riddick (author of “The Purge: Words to Live By”) as they talk about the challenges of parenting and co-parenting, and the evolving needs of single parents in modern society.

For more information about the Single Dads Foundation, check out www.wearesingledads.org or send an email to singledadsfoundation@gmail.com

The Single Dads Foundation educates both current and prospective fathers, and connects them to the resources they need to succeed. Our mission is to help them see the value that both parents can play in a child’s life through successful co-parenting.
