Rob performs solo music on the Chapman Stick, a unique instrument that combines elements of guitar, bass and piano. The basic technique involves tapping strings on frets with both hands (as opposed to plucking or strumming) to create full arrangements. Rob's style incorporates elements of folk, ambient and progressive/art rock.
