Fri May 9 - 10:00pm-10:50pm The Gulley Jimson Quartet have been playing in the Washington DC area for the past 5 years.We play contemporary rockabilly/americana, our music owes as much to The Clash as Johnny Cash.The band features two songwriters and our performances consist of mostly original compositions with an assortment of covers blended in. We have played numerous venues including Signal 66, The Hirshhorn Museum's 24 Psycho event, The Black Cat, Wonderland Ballroom, The Red and The Black, The Velvet Lounge, Galaxy Hut etc. Our CD was reviewed in Rockabilly Magazine Issue #36.
