 Joseph Jones

A native of Baltimore MD, he received his MFA in Visual Communication from The George Washington University and his BFA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Joseph is a Graphic Design Professor at Montgomery College School of Art and Design, and The Art Institute of Washington and where he teaches web design and other design related courses. Some of his favorite artists are Jacob Lawrence, Auguste Rodin, Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Piet Mondrian and Robert Rauschenberg. Joseph feels it's his responsibility as an artist, to design with a purpose. He says, I have done my part to bring change. When I have reached the hearts and minds of my viewers To be the change Mohandas Gandhi speaks about. I understand it must first start with me".
