The workshop 'Introduction to oil pastel' will briefly give the history of oil pastel, recommend materials and focus on techniques for this medium. The participants will complete a drawing. Should bring: sketch book (suitable for pastels), oil pastels,latex gloves, turpenoid,cotton balls, cotton swabs, paper towel,plastic knife. Participated in more than 70 solo and collective exhibits as well as Art Fairs in USA, UK, China, France, India, Spain, Egypt and Russia. Recent exhibits include New York Art Expo, NY, USA; Florence Art Biennale, Florence, Italy; Gallery West-Eleven, London, UK; Foundry Gallery, Washington, DC, etc. Since 2004, Sterlikova is associate academician of Academia Internazionale "GRECI-MARINO", Italy. The same year she became a member of International Federation of Artists & National Artist's Union of Russia. Ms. Sterlikova is a member of L’Association Pour la Promotion des Artistes et des Createurs, Paris, France and WPA/Corcoran, USA. Sterlikova’s works are in private collections in UK, USA, France, Germany, China, Belgium, Russia. Luba’s works have been featured in various publications, including ‘100 Contemporary Artists’;‘Modern Art of Russia’; Artistas por el Forum de las Culturas, Barcelona, Spain; The Artists Bluebook, USA; Dizionario Enciclopedico Internazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Italy; ’21 Artistas Contemporaneos para el Silgo 21’Spain; ‘Shanghai Star’, weekly newspaper, China, 2004; Capital Style, magazine, USA, 1998, etc.
