Colin's Bio: My music is based heavily on layered textures and harmonies, aleatoric rhythyms, drones, lo-fi electronics, and the gradual building and decay of loops and delay. I use a sequence of pedals and effects boxes to process keyboards, vocals, metal and springs, jawharp, and whistles. All my pieces are improvised, free-form, and go back and forth between techniques and instruments. I also like to set out microphones or percussion items for the audience to try out and performing in places other than the stage.
