I Wish, I Dream, I Promise: Make a Book Celebrating You. Duration: 2 hours Inspired by local traditions from the distant mountains of Ladakh, India, artist Sushmita Mazumdar teaches you how to make little Amulet Books, which you fill with your wishes, dreams, and promises.These books can then be worn or displayed so that the words may be celebrated throughout the year.

 Sushmita Mazumdar, is a Greater Washington DC area writer, graphic designer and book artist. She teaches art education programs for children as well as adult groups to encourage storytelling and help passing on cultural heritage from one generation to the next.
