Helina Metaferia is a visual, healing, and community artist. She exhibits her art regularly in galleries and museums in New York City, Philadelphia, Balitmore, and Washington, DC. Her community art projects include creating murals and teaching classes at schools, hospitals, group homes, wellness facilities, and community centers. She is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, Reiki Master, and has a degree in Fine Art. Class Description: This class combines meditation with visual arts in a fun and experimental approach. Participants will be lead in guided imagery techniques and will reflect their experiences on paper. The focus is on self-development and healing. New and experienced artists and meditators are welcome. Be prepared to have fun and be creative!
