Photography is a personal selfish endeavor. I can be forgetful. To capture a moment in time helps me to remember images, people and perspectives. If a viewer connects with the image, either negatively or positively, then I am satisfied. The image has provoked something for the viewer. My photography interests varies. It includes the following, but it is not limited to these photography genres: abstract, architectural, monochromatic, and street imagery. About the Artomatic display: This paragraph will not make sense until you see the display. When you approach my space, you will notice the two types of images. One type is the larger, colorful framed images (although there is one larger black/white image). Second is the smaller black and white images. The wall layout is arranged so that the photos are arranged diagonally (to follow along the black space). The diagonal space represents or symbolizes hierarchy of values, like cultural or society's values. You will notice how the more colorful and larger images are elevated (architecture, buildings), while the smaller monochromatic and dull-colored images (people) are interspersed around the larger images as to signify that the presence of these images are a second thought (or even valued less). As you can tell from the display, I am really, really, really into clean lines, shapes and colors... |
