Artwork throughout the time has served a purpose to enlighten but give meaning to living. I strive to bring the functionality of art to the 21st century. My elders at Tennessee State University a HBC in Nashville, TN taught me about the use of Afrocentric and traditional African symbols to project a certain feel for the object. Along with the ability to create objects to perform certain things in your life such as …

enlightenment, history, self-identification, love, and many other things.

A portrait I found striking when I use to listen to his music in the studio painting. To me he had ties to the sounds of the universe in his ballads.

Free Form Musician from the times of Jazz that inspired me for years by his playing and fire to try to bring the beast from his craft. What I found remarkable about the man is in his advanced age he still looks and moves like an excited young spirit. He was known for playing with Coltrane, Miles, and Sun Ra.
