I have drawn and painted since childhood.
I paint what interests me.
Right now I am interested in painting people and pets.
I try to give my paintings a sense of the individual-ness of the person or the pet.
I love love love dogs.
I also love cats, fish, turtles, even some rodents.
Bringing their adorable faces to life on a canvas is exciting.

My dog shel. She is a wonderful model. I tried painting from reference photos, but she is so sensitive that when I deliberately tried to pose her in front of the camera, she sat there with a big smile and her ears pinned back to the side of her head. So I painted her ears from life.
