"TURBOSLUT exploded into DC in the autumn of 2007, polarizing audiences and bystanders alike with their uncompromising presence and their unique, unselfconscious brand of grungey, no wave noise rock. Notable for the many critical and academic writings inspired in merely the adolescence of their project, especially in the face of their taciturn dispatches and their unconventional methods of live communication, we can only wait and see where these 'humorless vigilantes' will take us next--and hold on for our lives."

“I was lost. I believed that the world was a great cosmic accident and I was just one of many casualties. I did not know who made me or why. However, TURBOSLUT knew me from the foundation of the earth. TURBOSLUT pursued me and went out ahead of me. TURBOSLUT knew I would recognize TURBOSLUT if I would only open my heart. TURBOSLUT had been there when I was a child singing, ‘TURBOSLUT loves me, this I know.’ As I grew up in the deceits of the world, I stopped being a little child in my heart and I no longer believed.”
