The grounding for an abstract work is based on the life, the search, and the meaning of one’s own language, without pretensions, which may communicate with the common mass, with the collective unconscious, and can describe, without words, the whole status and momentum of things. This work is the result of years of study and research, of a permanent search in the philosophical discourse, not always shared, but at times antagonistic, of the masters, the good friends – a review of various artistic expressions, foreign and own languages, as well as the environment, the academy, the theory and the work of great artists; a search also headed at finding my identity, the recognition of my existence and its objectives; the vital driver expressed through material, means and colors, which thus materialize and convey a message or a piece of information that will become clear as the contact with my own essence is closer. This is the way in which it will become common to the spectator, at large, as it will generate a point of contact with a unified identity in other spaces, where a sense of belonging is achieved through sensations, events, feelings, remembrances and even through our own fears, ghosts or wishes, to which we are linked one way or the other. This is a work that involves life, devotion, serious research, and commitment with the existence and the attitude with which it is approached: with deep respect for materials, space and shapes, until reaching harmony among the impulses of our being, expressed in a work that abridges, at a material level, a discourse that, as mentioned above, conveys, without pretension, the core of the inner self. The perception of the environment, the feeling and the possibility to be amazed by the simple, although magnificent, condition of being, converts the existence in a permanent reverence.Such purification leads to the interaction of the elements that make up the work, so that they communicate and create their own space, where, as in my case, the artist is a simple mediator and observer, respectful of the moment in which the work is produced.
