There lived an old man in Mount Rainier
Who used to be thought of as brainier.
He does figures with paint
(Realistic they ain't)
So now he's just thought of as zanier.

Not Living Room
To Tom Cardarella's But How Will It Look In My Living Room

It wouldn't be quite true
To talk about the lovely view
And how the art is watching you,
Because such a thing always takes two,
And you've (obviously) got better things to do.

Subtracting A Dimension
     To Tom Cardarella's Trompe L'Oeil

'Twas certain
A burden
For the artist to devise
But such joy
This trompe l'oeil
To tweak the eyes
Into resolving the tension
Of subtracting a dimension.
