"I know for myself I am interested in the evolution of the photographic image rather than it's perfection."

"My photo work is multi-cultural, multi-layered, and diverse."

Denee Barr is an artistic chameleon who melds the artistry of fine art photography, printmaking, and papermaking. Denee's work is based on the belief that we can nurture our own creativity by appreciating what brings us personal joy, happiness, balance, and peace. Her work celebrates nature, faith, culture, transcendence.

A Washington, DC native, Denee Barr studied engineering, radio, television and film, painting, papermaking, and printmaking at the University of Maryland College Park.
