I believe that art has the power to help us see the world through the eyes of others. Promoting a sense of awareness, interest, enthusiasm and energy, through my work, is important to me and are the goals by which I create art. My design inspirations come from many types of visuals, like fabric patterns and colors and textures around us. I never know what the completed piece will look like at the beginning, but as the work forms, I see in my minds eye what the next step will be, through completion.
