objects find conflict in texture, placement and starkness…transgressing the deepest intimacy with steel, cement, + rubber…sewn into one another, trying to remain simple and honest.

heating, bending, forming all provide a sequence of processes that fulfill the role of communicator, myself. slowly involving other mater in order to provoke fingers into varying possibilities of satisfaction – forcing delicacy and a deeper sense of perspective to the nature of the object. an overwhelming force of physicality with these industrial materials propagate solace.

material is something that always involves the value of object making for me…the little revelations in touching surfaces and identifying new methods of technique have a consequence that I always feel is self-evolving and it does become a point of remiss in revealing the nature of it's being.
