2007 marks my first year participating in Artomatic. I'm looking forward to connecting with other artists and meeting new people in the greater arts community. My exhibit space is located in room 6R15 on the 6th floor. See you there!

This painting examines the inherited nature of two issues about women's breasts: The obsession over size and appearance and the pervasiveness of breast cancer in our society.

My grandmother always said she needed to "put her face on" before she could leave the house. She was referring to makeup and doing her hair. This painting examines the annoyance of expectations for women to look a certain way to be considered beautiful.
