I am a self taught silkscreen artist. I started silkscreening 20 years ago to make t-shirts for myself, my friends, and to give away as presents when I travel. I transitioned to public art in the wake of September 2001 to challenge and counter the use of public space for intolerant or nationalistic messages. In each of the last 4 Artomatics I have prepared a series of silkscreen prints specifically for the show. This year my work reflects on self identity and perceived identity within a relationship.
