25 Years Since Columbine: Today’s Students Respond – 2nd Floor Stage

April 21 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Free

The highs school student creators behind the Museum of Contemporary American Teenagers (MoCAT) are marking 25 years since the Columbine massacre with an Artomatic installation.

Today, students are instructed on the three options in a lockdown: Avoid, Deny, and Defend.

Option #2, “Deny,” was chosen for this installation, because denial feels like the most American of options when dealing with our gun violence epidemic.

This Sunday from 4 to 6 pm on Artomatic’s 2nd-floor stage, MoCAT hosts a special program featuring:

-invited guest U.S. Representative Jamie Raskin

-Maryland State Senator Jeff Waldstreicher

-Cathy Feingold, gun violence survivor and board member of TraRon Center

-talented student presenters
