DC Bushwick Book Club Presents New Work Inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey – 5th Floor Cabaret

April 12 @ 7:15 pm - 9:15 pm

Free
Come check out eight artists’ take on 2001:  A Space Odyssey with new music and animation!  Originally published in 1968, 2001: A Space Odyssey was a prescient warning about the possibilities of leaving decision making to AI.  Presenting artists include:  Ari Voxx (music), Boy Meets Pearl (music), charlee scythe (music), Ivan Ramsical (music), Kerri Sheehan (animation), Mars Delehant (music), Rob Parrish (music) and Safety Bear (music).
The Bushwick Book Club is the joyous intersection of indie artists and book nerds. For each show, a group of artists reads a book and create and present a new piece inspired by the book. There are eight chapters around the world with the DC Chapter heading into its second year with 2001: A Space Odyssey.
