Tony Brooks is a professional Washington DC based photographer who covers a wide gambit of photography genres from photojournalism, travel, sports, events, to portraiture. He seeks opportunities to capture moments using various photographic techniques. Tony is a business development consultant and brings those skills to Artomatic
David specializes in working with glass, employing both traditional stained glass techniques and contemporary fusing methods. He enjoys integrating these techniques with unconventional, often recycled materials. Additionally, David shares his expertise by teaching stained glass techniques at Montgomery College.
For over 30 years, Carol has actively explored and championed diverse voices within the visual arts.
Shiru is a distinguished artist and architect hailing from Cameroon, West Africa, celebrated for her impactful African art that seamlessly integrates contemporary techniques with traditional imagery. Her work often depicts and honors African culture, familial bonds, and everyday experiences. Shiru’s talent has garnered her numerous accolades, including recognition in Marquis Who’s Who and the prestigious International Prize Velázquez & Goya.
Debbie became involved in Artomatic due to her deep appreciation for all forms of art and the artist community as a whole. Her favorite aspect of the event is observing the guests’ reactions to the diverse array of artwork showcased in the exhibition.
Marcos asserts that the interconnections and relationships between shapes and materials found in natural design serve as essential guides for constructing his sculptures. His exposure to indigenous cultures has profoundly enriched his artistic perspective, as their reverence for and utilization of natural materials to create both functional and symbolic objects significantly influences his own creative approach.
Eric’s background in marketing, brand and digital strategy spans the world of scrappy startups, big agencies, and consulting work for clients from small brands to Fortune 100 companies.
He has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of live event conception, programming, and production, including talent recruitment and booking, studio and stage management, scheduling, budgeting, merchandise, and marketing. His work is driven by his passion for community-driven arts initiatives and years of engagement with arts and music through special events both locally and globally, bringing an international perspective to his work in supporting and promoting artists and engaging audiences. His work is informed by participation in professional conferences and workshops in multiple countries, and cultivation of an extensive global network.
Susan retired in 2018 after a 33 year career in the Federal Government and is now a connoisseur of life. She pursues knowledge, creates art, volunteers, and travels. An amateur artist, she is continuing to explore her use of media, subject and style. To Artomatic Susan brings her project management, process improvement, and corporate & volunteer governance expertise plus her love of art and desire to support and encourage emerging artists.
Arden frequently incorporates paper, photographs, and found objects into her experimental animations. Since 2016, she has focused on creating hyperrealistic portraits using graphite and charcoal. Currently, however, she has shifted her emphasis away from hyperrealism and is experimenting with soft pastels, graphite powder, and dry pigments to explore conceptual expressions within landscape art.
