Artomatic is an artist-run, un-juried, temporary multimedia arts event that draws together visual and performing artists and brings their work to the community. Artists are accepted, and exhibit space is allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Artist Participant fees cover event expenses and artist participant work shifts provide the staff to run the event. Artomatic will open on March 8 and continue through April 28, 2024.

Artomatic is a nonprofit, volunteer-run 501 (c) 3 organization that coordinates and hosts a large arts festival occurring periodically in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, usually in a commercial location slated for demolition. Artomatic’s mission is to create community, build audience and expand economic development by transforming available space into a playground for artistic expression.
